It will also save you a lot of money while eating out as restaurants tend to charge far extra for non-water drinks.

What’s one of the reasons that people gravitate toward soda during meals instead of water? The taste, of course. Water is seen as too “bland” to some people, so why not add a little flavor to it to make things interesting? However, you should probably steer clear of adding a bunch of sugar into your water.
